The month of October is dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. The Fontevecchia Association, which has always been alongside Lilt - the Italian League for the Fight against Tumors, joins the 2020 Pink Ribbon campaign
Friends, the 'Pink Ribbon' Campaign is back in 2020. Starting today, Monday 12 October, and until Friday 16 October, we invite all women to book their breast examination which is carried out in the Clinics of Casa Lilt, in via Rubicone 15, in Pescara, or in the Lilt clinics in the former hospital unit of Tocco da Casauria. To book your visit, you need to call the following numbers: 3385885788 or 3280235511, or just send a whatsapp message to 3938159916, indicating your name, surname and telephone number. The blue tick will be proof of receipt and reading, and you will be called back by our secretary to set the day and time of the appointment. We remind you that, due to Covid-19, the visits will be spaced by about 25-30 minutes from each other to give adequate sanitation time, all patients will have to sign the Covid-19 form, signing their availability and traceability and , on site, will be subjected to body temperature measurement before entering the clinics for the safety of you, of all users and also of the volunteers and doctors involved in the Campaign. Obviously we ask for patience on the phone by providing a large number of calls, we will answer everyone and obviously, longer times require us to postpone the visits that we will guarantee to all those who book. The visits will be carried out by a pool of oncologists and breast surgeons from the Pescara Civil Hospital, coordinated by the head of Oncology dr. Dimitri Luisi and the surgeon Marino Nardi. Participation in the Campaign requires the Lilt membership card, at a cost of 10 euros per year, which gives the automatic right to participate in all the cancer prevention campaigns promoted by the Italian League Against Tumors during the year, therefore not only breast cancer, but also melanoma, skin cancers, male cancers, Prevention Week. #We wait
