The restoration of the wood stove was the case in 2010 and, like all other restoration work, was financed with own funds of the Association Fontevecchia through self-taxation.

Specifically, it was reconstructed a traditional wood oven exactly where it stood a destroyed because of the passage of time.

For its realization are two tripped master masons who used red bricks that were also produced 400 years ago with the same construction techniques for the realization of the closed dome with earth and covered the place with the tiles to recover.

Its cost was around 5.000,00 € but have been well spent because the freshly baked cakes and bread are priceless.

During the year the Fontevecchia Association organizes bakery’s courses  for bread and traditional cakes baked in the oven.
